Today's Limited Supplies Challenge was in honor of Presidents Day, which is Monday, Feb. 15th. But actually today, Feb. 12, really is Lincoln's Birthday, so he was the president I chose to honor. I googled "pennies" and got a clip art photo of a pile of pennies, which I printed twice -- once small for inside the jar and once large for the background of the jar panel. I stamped the two sides of the pennies in copper and punched them out, and stamped the sentiment in black, although after I clear embossed it, it looks more like a deeper copper color. Oh, well! I put lots of Crystal Effects on the penny jar.

What a great idea, Lois!! In our family, when someone turns 50, they get a roll of pennies!! My DS was just 45....I'll save this, and if I remember where I put it, it will go with his pennies!! Very clever!!
