A HUGE thank you to Jacqueline Nimrichter for providing the tutorial for the swivel cards. I made a bunch of these for my 4 year old's preschool and daycare buddies.

Hi,
These are so adorable! I'm trying to make some for my kids, and am having a problem. I learned that you have to punch the heart border first, then the large heart, then stamp the heart words. But when I try to punch the large heart in the Mambo layer, it's too close to the edge. Any advice? Thank you!

What I figured out (after lots of attempts on scrap paper...) is that I sized down the original pattern so that the finished size is 2 3/4" rather than 3". I did the heart border first, then stamped the heart on the white, then punched out the heart, then used that white piece to trace the heart onto the red. I think the main challenge with using the heart punch is that the "reach" isn't as great as it should be...
Not sure if that helps any...but once i got it figgered out, I had lots of fun with them. Now to get my grown-up valentines done...maybe they'll get 'em by summer!!
Have fun!
