I ended up making my card to be 4 1/2 x 8 for Skipping Stones Design Sketch Tuesday but let's just say it went through a few transformations. Why? Well....I had this fantastic idea to use this really cool wooden flower that I bought at Pier 1 Imports and it was rather big so I had to adjust the size of the card to fit the flower. I was going to have the butterfly from Healing Wings popped up off the flower. Well... Things didn't go exactly as planned. In other words, the flower looked ridiculous! I like how my card turned out in the end though - I matted the layers a few times behind the main image and then used my Blossom Nestabilities to finish it off. Can I just tell you how in love with Distress Inks I now am in? I am loving them! See the cool looking border I have on the edge of the card. Can you believe I bought that punch at Michael's before Christmas and didn't realize I even owned it until I opened up one of the my punch drawers and saw it sitting there.
