Congratulations to Karen B Barber for being featured stamper. I always admired her gallery as well as her comments. I took a few weeks off from stamping and finally decided to join in for the challenge. I've just been busy at work and people are starting to call me a workaholic even my own twin sister (okstamper) This quilted card is the one that inspired me: TLC254 - QUILTING FOR BEARS...... by Karen B Barber at Splitcoaststampers
I started with purple bazzill cs as the base. I layered with light olive bazzill cs, ran it through the CB Houndstooth folder. I then used dp from the Dollar Tree, adhered it to the SU Top Note cutout and again ran it through the CB Houndstooth folder then cut around the die cut. I used the CB slider die cut on GP white cs. I also cut a small piece of the light olive bazzill cs, stamped the sentiment with black stazon and added 2 small peach button brads to each side. It's raised using 3D dots. I then tied a purple striped organdy ribbon and adhered it with a 3D square.
Things I changed: Colors, Cuttlebug folder, added brads
My twin sister (okstamper) and I have a special request. If anyone could make an extra card and send it to our mother, she'll be 85yrs on March 12th and we both would like her to receive 85 cards for her birthday.

Love how you achieved the textured quilt look, well done!!
I have made a note and will send your Mother a card for her 85th Birthday, will try to time it so that it crosses the sea just in time.... a great idea, I am sure she will feel very special!

A wonderful CASE of Karen's original card. Wonderful colors and that houndstooth texture makes it seem like a well-used comfy quilt that has been washed many times.

WOW! Connie, this is really pretty! Is that why you called me at 10:45pm last night. I was ZONKED! Asleep in bed. David wanted even wanted to know if I was sick or something, never saw me in bed that early. Anyways, this is a great case, but did you cut the shape of the card like that...perfect!
