I also used the color challenge from this week- pretty in pink, chocolate chip and rich razzleberries with my neutral of black; an added bonus was to incorporate houndstooth which I did with this ribbon.
Last I chose a sketch from August- SC242. I did not get to play that challenge and thought the 'flower of the month' image would be perfect.
I know this stamp set is very old to many but it is new to me. It was retired before I started stamping. I have wanted it for a very long time and was fortunate to find it. I like traditional things (as well as trendy) and so I think this set makes wonderful birthday cards.
I received some copic markers for Christmas and this is one of my first attempts at blending. Not too bad, but practice will help.
