It's my brothers birthday next week so I made him this very special card with his rock band playing skills in mind. Apparently, according to his kids, he loves to play PS3 Rock Band and while playing the guitar he refers to himself as 'B-String'. I can only imagine.
Anyway, I bought this SU stamp with him in mind and had so much fun making it for him. I hope he appreciates the humor when he gets it. The main guitar playing image was stamped with versa mark and then black ep was added to emboss. I borrowed my daughters (thank you Amber) extreme elements for the bg. The letters for b-string were cut out with my sizzix sizzlets templates. I used nestabilities to cut out the squares around the images. I brushed ink around the edges of the squares in various colors. Fancy brads were added in the top corners. The outside was done.
The inside of the card reads '50' with a gold embossed crown above it on a nestabilities label piece cut on the same dp as on the front and "Its Your Day' which was cut with the cricut along with the 5 & 0.
So I mailed that off today and we'll see what he thinks next week when he gets it. I really had fun with this card and have put a lot of thought into it for some time now. TFL and have a great day!

I have thought about buying this stamp - it is so fun. I love what you did with it - all the extras you added really made it special. I bet he really, really likes it. I love when cards are made with all this thought - it is what card-making is all about. Great job.
