Happy New Year everyone, can you believe it I was waiting for the IC to come out last night because I thought it was Friday? Well, it's 2:15am and I just finished making 10 of these cards, 5 in each color for an order. We were to choose something from the Design Spirit Studio and I chose this as my inspiration: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php...ng_id=32798180
I started with SU basic black as the base. I layered with GP white cs and ran it through the CB leaf branch folder. I then cut a strip of SU basic black cs, I also cut another strip of GP white cs, used the MS lace border punch. I then used a small piece of tacky tape for each side of ribbon and adhered it to the white strip. The strip is attached with 3D squares. I used the Sizzix frame scallop oval die with SU basic black and GP white cs. I stamped the butterfly with black stazon on the GP white cs as well as the sentiment. The frame is adhered with tiny 3D dots and the inside is adhered with medium 3D squares. I then added a small self adhesive pearl to the butterfly and added 2 mini gold self stick beads to each corner. I also added white dots around the frame with a white opaque pen.
My DH's grandpa asked me to make 10 thank you cards for his lady friend who will be turning 80yrs old and having a big birthday party.
TFL! Have a wonderful Saturday.

Hmm, didnt think you were going to do the IC challenge...I feel asleep watching a movie. Ok, onto your cards...very pretty! I know she will love these. The butterfly is just beautiful with the pearl along with the b/g cb! Great job!

Sometimes we do our best work in the wee hours of the morning. These are wonderful. Both your husband's grandpa and his lady friend will be well-pleased.
