This card is for today's sketch challenge. I have been updating a number of very old baby card samples so that they are usable as they'd gotten pretty tattered sitting around. I had a piece of plaid background from which I'd taken the main image and used it on another card. I'd considered throwing this piece out but decided to use it for today's sketch. I cut it down and added a diagonal piece of Pretty in Pink background paper. Since some of the dots on the pink background paper were white and the plaid piece was vanilla, I used my Barely Banana marker to color the dots. I added an embossed Barely Banana greeting as the focal point. The original card had a button and ribbon that I liked but they didn't match well and they were in the way of attaching the main image. When I removed them they tore the background just a bit and I didn't have any button large enough to cover that, so I made my own with five layers of card stock and background paper. It always takes a really long time, in Connecticut, for crystal effects to dry, but I did wait patiently. I also added a stamped pacifier. I'm so pleased that I was able to make use of the original plaid piece and not toss it.
