Clean and Simple challenge #47
Make a card that makes you think of a trip into the world of Disney! We didn't need to use Disney characters on our cards, Just let my imagination flow and to keep it clean and simple. Did I hit the nail on the head?
I don't have even one Disney character, but the word Disney evoked cartoon images or cutsie. I also needed a get well card for a friend that had to cancel a date for today so I had time to make a card rather than being out and about.
This card is actually a fix of a mistake. I started out embossing the scallop square on the white base and then sponging in red for color. Ummm, even though I had post-its around the Nestability so I could stipple, I still got red smudged on the white base. I ended up cutting it out and then mounting it on a fresh white card. I like how this turned out even better than my original version.
