Want the GREATEST Quiche in the world -- with NO crust. Well, I think I perfected one. It is being served in a local Bistro in town. I looked up many different quiche recipes and adjusted this one to suit my tastes -- Sharp cheese and 1/2/ and 1/2 are the secrets to this ones success. Do I give it out? Well, I guess --
I serve brunch at our house for about 50 people 4 times a year-- and they all come, because they want to eat THIS quiche. I have to make sure I have lots of it, as the guys always want seconds.
If you don't like the card, don't worry, the recipe will make up for it.
Jo MeyerÂ’s Crustless Quiche
• 8-10 eggs, beaten • 2.5 cups half and half
• 4 oz chopped, cooked ham • 4 cups shredded SHARP cheddar
• 1/2 c swiss cheese • 1/2 cup chopped onion
• Seasoning: 1 T. dijon mustard, 1/8 t pepper, 1/8 t salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
•Sautee onions and ham •mix half and half, eggs,
mustard, & pepper •Layer ham, cheese, and onion in
9X13 pan •Pour egg mixture into dish and sprinkle with
Swiss cheese •Either refrigerate overnight or straight to
oven. •Bake at 375 for 20 minutes, then reduce to 350 for
another 30 to 45 minutes •Let set 10- 15 minutes.
Makes 8 large servings or 12 smaller servings.
Note: Larger ham chunks makes it taste too much HAM flavor in my opinion.
And for Faith -- "markie's mom" -- Because I buy cut up ham, and shedded cheese, it takes about 10 minutes to put together -- I can do that lots faster than making a card.

Hmm - DH is one of those who believe that real men don't eat quiche, but I just love it. I like your card, too, with the lovely gold embossing and that rustic rooster.
p.s - was this for the WT249. I assumed it was, because of the recipe, but I only found it when I was looking through the daily uploads, not in the WT gallery.
