I made this card purse following the tutorial with a few alterations. Since I happened to have Chocolate Chip paper in 12x12, I decided to make my card purse a little bigger to fit more cards. I cut the paper down to 5 3/4 X 12 and scored at 1 1/4, 5 3/4, 7 and 11 1/2. The rest of it I made according to the tutorial. The patterned paper that I used is one I made using the Plaid Maker and Brilliant Blue, Rose Red and So Saffron ink. I got this color scheme from SU Tall Tales paper, which I used on the cards inside. The blue ribbon is Details Brand from the DollarTree and the red brads are out of the Primary color pack from Joann's. I punched out a 1/2" circle of Brilliant Blue and used it to back the brads. The Old Olive ribbon with the white edging is from the Mistletoe Ribbon Originals from the current SU Holiday Mini. The sentiment is from the SU Great Friend set.
This is a part of a Thank You Card gift set that I made to give to my friend who was having a baby shower. You can see the matching cards in my gallery.
