I needed a real nice masculine card for the buyer at work. I chose this card Manly Card SC110 by flaxychick at Splitcoaststampers from flaxychick .
I started with cream textured cs as the base. I layered with DCWV tan dp, used the distressing tool around all edges then brushed with timber brown stazon. I then layered a strip chocolate chip underneath the striped dp. The 2 layers of strips are layered with cream textured cs, chocolate chip cs and DCWV dp. I used my MM eyelet setter with mini brown eyelets and added hemp through the holes. I also added 3 mini brown eyelets on the cream textured cs strip at the top. I stamped the image with timber brown stazon onto creamy caramel cs, sponged with brocade blue ink, chocolate chip & creamy caramel ink. I then stamped the boat again on the printer dp, cut the sails and added to the image. I also layered with the same dp & chocolate chip. The image is raised with a 3D square. I then used the SU chocolate chip marker to make notches around the edges. I used the distressing tool around all the edges of every layer.
Thanks flaxychick for a great card you created.

This is way TOO cool Connie. I like the fact you stamped right onto the dp for the sailboat. Did you know, I just bought this stamp set at a garage sale for $4.
