I've had a special card that needed to be made for quite a while and some of the requirements were that it had to be single layer and no embellishments. I've this idea for a card in my head for nearly a month but I just couldn't find the right stamp I wanted to use until last night when I was going through my Unity stamps for FWF did I come across this Ferris wheel from Unity's ...100% Happy set. Then the sentiment came from this month's Kit of the Month Simply Magical. I masked a rectangle on the inside of the card and used Distressed Dots and my copic airgun with B000 to make the blue background. I also used one of my nesties to trace out the front square and used a craft blade to cut out the square and parts of the ferris wheel that would overlap the blue background. I thought that by keeping the colors minimal and only coloring the portion of the ferris wheel in the square would make for a more dramatic effect. What do you think? Definitely not a comfort zone type of card to do.
