I created the background for this card with tomorrow's tutorial. I had to use Taylor's Celebrate Life set for the main image. The bold flower seemed perfect for this technique.
I sponged first with Scattered Straw, then with Vintage Photo distress inks. Crystal Effect adds a little texture to the flower.
Can you tell how much I LOVE sponging with my new inks and sponging tools? Distress inks rock!

Oh so warm, rich and STUNNING, Beate. Love the distressed edges and your sponged in nestie. That is an amazing image, but so is everything else you've incorporated into this BEAUTY.

This was a great tutorial. Reminded me of my days in elementary school when we used to use this technique with masking tape and covered bottles to create vases. Love it on the card... will give it a try - soon.
Thanks,
