I've been dying to make a Christmas Acetate card - it's on my long list of "must-try" techniques. I had so much fun making it & I really *love* the look so much that I already have some more images lined up ready to pop onto some more acetate cards.
The image was coloured with Gamsol, Prismas and Acrylic paints and I added some red Kindyglitz to the reindeer's nose 'cos Rudolph HAS to have a sparkly nose, doesn't he? I added Polar White Flower Soft underneath the robin & reindeer to look like snow - I love this stuff. The Acetate was stamped repeatedly with the sentiment and then I used a sea-sponge to sponge around the edges, and because I was short of time, I heat-set the ink. The ribbon is called Holiday Twisted Rope - isn't it just gorgeous!!
Note that the red cs was attached to the acetate on the inside of the card to hide the double-sided tape between the image and the red cs. I did the inside of the card in similar fashion.
Thanks for having a peek at my card!
