I use the document boxes you can buy at Target to store my unmounted rubber stamps.
This is a photo of the Target box open, since my stamps are bare rubber, no foam or cling, I can get two layers of stamps into the boxes.
I use stenciling plastic cut down to make the second layer, I also glue down some of those little square alphabet beads to help keep the 2nd layer from laying on the bottom layer. No specail reason for using those beads they were just something I had hanging around.
I use to stamp my indexes on two sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 (one for the box and one for the binder), but found if I moved a stamp to another box I would have to redo the whole sheet over, so now I just double stamp the image cut it out and tape it .

I use to be able to get them in the $ spot when they would be selling school supplies in Aug. Now they sell them in the scrapbooking section, for $1.99 each, but they are hard to find, I have never found more than 1 or 2 at at a time. All my family and friends will grab them for me if they are in a Target and see them. I did find an online site that sells some that are almost the same. I bought some there, shipping was fast and was well packaged. If you would like the link PM me.
