My dad passed away a couple of weeks ago and I can't stand the canned 'thank you' cards that you get from the funeral home. I needed a simple design that expressed our gratitude to all the people that came around mom and the rest of us. I think this does the trick.
Used markers on the flowers. Stamped, stamped again and then 'huffed on' the stamp for the third image. Couldn't decide on a color for the sentiment so I did some of each. Deckled the edges to give it a touch of classiness.
I think they look pretty good!

Very, very nice cards. Thank you for sharing them with us. You're so right, these are much nicer than the cards from the funeral home. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad.

Michelle, these are lovely and I LOVE blue and white. Perfect thank you card for the occasion. My Dad passed away last year and I used the funeral home cards, although it went way against the grain. I have such a hard time doing fast and simple cards, so that's why I opted to use theirs. Wish I had seen this first. I may have tried my hand at it. I'm sure the cards were appreciated by the recipients. Great job and I'm so sorry for your loss! TFS!!!

Oh, Michelle, I'm sending you hugs hugs. I am sorry for the loss of your Dad. I lost mine 10 years ago now and it still seems impossible that he is not here anymore.
Your cards are beautiful. They were obviously made with great love. It would have been a privilege to receive one I am sure.
Take care. XX
