I needed a sympathy card and thought the Flowers in Silhouette embossed in black would look good. First I lightly stamped the En Francais b/g stamp on yellow card stock, then I used versamark and black embossing powder for the silhouette flowers on top. I went with a yellow and black color combo and also used the En Francais b/g stamp on the circular greeting in a light yellow and stamped the greeting in black over the top of it. The yellow card stock had great lined texture already~which you probably can't see in the photo~, so I opted not to use an ef. I stamped a b/g flower stamp in black on the bottom portion of the card and added a ribbon. I paper pierced the first main panel of the card and popped up on dimensionals. I also popped up 2 of the image layers on dimensionals as well as the greeting.
It's never a good time to make a sympathy card; but, unfortunately, we need them to send our comfort, thoughts and prayers to those in time of need.
P.S. It was hard to get the photo right with the black and yellow colors, but I did the best I could.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look and if you have a chance, let me know what you think.

This is a fabulous Mojo card, Pam!!! LOVE the colour combo. Great use of the French Script BG with the flower and the other floral BG stamp for the bottom portion. You knocked this one out of the park I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated too. Verve Sketches took over my week. Hope I can squeeze in this sketch this weekend....

Beautiful work... Sure to bring comfort - this is truly another one of your beauties... Of course you know I love pierced borders on cards...and all those wonderful layers... So sorry to hear you have need for another sympathy card - you always put such wonderful thought, care and time into your cards. Although sometimes it would be easier for me, I find I simply can't make sympathy cards 'in case' I need one. I truly find that the time I spend thinking of/praying for the person needing comfort while I create a card for them is a very important part of the process and that shows in all the sympathy cards you make. Take care...

Hi Pam! Sympathy cards are never a fun thing to need to use. This is a LOVELY card. I really love how you stamped the yellow script and then the black over it - AWESOME look - really dresses it up to be elegant -- yet so quick to do. TFS

Pam, this is beautiful. I absolutely love the b/g flower stamp. Love the yellow with your black. I believe any color looks fabulous with elegant black. Your embossed silhouette is gorgeous and this is certainly a perfect sympathy card.
