Ok, I need more practice sewing fabric onto cardstock!! LOL I was very excited about this week's twist...fabric. My sister, who quilts, gave me a bag of her scraps last month so I had lots of choice. I picked this piece that is a very close match to the old SU In Colour Vintage Violet. I think I should have just stitched the fabric and then adhered it to the cardstock...it's a bit wrinkly and crooked...er, I mean "whimsical!!"

Your card is very pretty. I love the color combination, and I think the "whimsy" appears intentional. After all, it's fabric. It works.

I had to leave one more comment so I know you will see it. I think I have used up all of my alloted time for SCS today in your gallery. At first I was trying to read each entry to see what challenges you used for your designs. I even ended up on a couple other peoples blogs through your gallery. Before I go, I want to say it was time well spent. You have a lovely gallery. I tried to make it all the way back to the beginning, but unfortunately, my time is up for now. It has really been a pleasure. You are a very talented lady. Thanks for sharing your creations.

Your card looks great! I think you did a super job on sewing, and I really love the colors you chose! Lucky you to have a sister who donates scraps of material! Awesome take on the challenge!!
