Congratulations to Clownmom (Lois) on being yesterday's featured stamper!! Hubby and I were gone for the day, so I didn't get a chance to case one of Lois' cards until today. I chose her Popping Dahlia card:
Things I changed:
1) colors
2) stamp sets
3) added some layers
4) used arrow punch instead of flourished die
I actually made this card for a few challenges:
1) Featured Stamper Lois Bak (Clownmom)
2) Faux suede technique
3) Color challenge to use green, yellow, kraft and optional brown (on StampTV)
My leaves are of the faux suede technique and were made by using Stampin Up's Christmas ornament punch. I drew veins on the leaves with my Old Olive marker and folded them in half.
I heat embossed the sunflower image in black and then colored with Copic markers in a summer sun color. I applied touches of glitter to the sunflower by mixing a little tacky glue with water and applying dabs of glue to my image with a small brush and adhering the glitter.
I hope you enjoyed your day and will enjoy your entire week, Lois! You are always so kind and uplifting in your comments and have a gallery full of fabulous creations!
