This was produced for a friend's birthday. She is notorious for killing off plants. So on the front of the box it says "No Watering Required" on the nestie shape #done on computer# and have stuck a metal watering can embellishment in middle.
For the card itself I stamped several flowers with Memento Potters Clay onto cream pearl card and coloured with Copics. Cut them out and decoupaged together #self supporting#.
The bottom part of flower pot is cut to shape slighter wider than flower pot base card. It also has extension folds on either side. So that when it is stuck to the base card it domes to give pot dimension. To support dome I inserted thick acetate in same shape as pot bottom.
Before sticking it I distressed edges with Potter's Clay and then embossed with Cuttlebug Embossing folder. I took another strip of same coloured card and distressed edges and rounded the corners with Corner Chomper to create the flower pot top.
I also highlighted the detail with cream chalk.
The plaque on flower pot is stamped with Oval Just Rite Stamper #Potters Clay# and die cut with nestie. Mounted using dimensionals.
The writing on plaque says Irene's Everlasting Flowers.
Hopefully my friend won't manage to kill this plant!!
Thank you for looking. Your comments are much appreciated and well received.
