Hello everyone! This is the first Sunday I have gotten to stamp in a LONG time! I made this card for featured stamper NancyRuth, and for Stampin Sister's in Christ challenge to make a Thinking of you or Praying for you card.
What fun to browse through NancyRuth's gallery at all the treasures there! It was so hard to choose and what I started out to do and what I ended up doing are so different ... well, I can't believe it! LOL! But here is the card I chose to case: Susie B Made me Do It, SC247, Nancyruth by NANCYRUTH at Splitcoaststampers
You can't possibly improve on perfection so I had to make at least three changes ... so this is what I came up with. I turned the sketch on it's side, instead of white I used vanilla and sponged heavily, and I added a sentiment from the soon to be released Our Daily Bread Designs set "Praying for You" and lightly stamped off, then lightly stamped the dragonfly from a coordinating set "With Heartfelt Sympathy". I did everything on Very Vanilla, stamped with Archival Sepia, and sponged with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink. I used my new CB die/emboss combo "Ornamental Iron" for all the embossing and die cuts. I added a brad and sprayed the entire project with Bronze Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. Had to photograph it outside to try to capture a little of the glimmer... even then it doesn't do it justice.
Nancy... this in no way comes close to your nice clean card... but I hope you like it! Thanks for letting us all Ohhhhhh and Ahhhhhh over your gallery today!

Gorgeous textures here Grace. Beautifuly inspired version of Nancy, which I can't see now but saw earlier. Guess it's been sollicited too much today. Love your sketch and the subtle sentiment, but oh so needed in time of sorrow. TFS and Hi Grace!
