I created this super cute spider card for my recent hostess club. You could easily swap the sentiment if you do not celebrate Halloween. The card utilizes our Stampin' Around Wheels, which I admit, I do not use nearly as much as I should. They are an easy way to add pattern to your projects very quickly. Most of our wheels don't have an edge as this one, but are all over patterns. Since the bottom edge is grass, you can easily sponge more color to fill in any holes in case you didn't wheel exactly straight. It's designed to be broken and crooked, so you don't have to fill in if you don't want to.
The punch spider was originally conceived by Julie Case, another Stampin' Up demonstrator.I love the creativity of fellow stampers! Her version used the Scallop Punch for the body and that was just too big for this card. Instead I used our 1 3/8" circle punch. The legs are created with the Photo Corner Punch. I added eyes and teeth with the White Gel Pen. The trailing web is our Silver Elastic Cord which is available in the Holiday Mini Catalog.
