...and I'm crazy for this 80s Anya! Ahhh the 80s so many memories. After the 80s I think that is when it was decided that there needed to be a re-evaluation of what was the appropriate age level to expose certain topics. I think most of the movies were about teen angst and rebellion. Some of my all time favorite movies Ferris Beuller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Some Kind of Wonderful. I think Madonna was the biggest line pusher during that time. The 80s was a fabulous time when Music TV was born. I'm a music enthusiast and loved watching all the music videos. Do artists even make videos anymore? The only thing I see on most of the music channels these days are brain cell depleting reality shows. I remember jelly bracelets and shoes, long shirts with belts over the top, stirrup pants, big hair and even bigger bangs, bad perms, and banana clips. What are some of your memories from the 80s?
This Limited Edition 80s Anya from the Greeting Farm was colored up with copics. I used papers from my scrap basket. I believe the majority of the designer papers are from Me& My BIG ideas and a piece from Cosmo Cricket. I used part of a Basic Grey Star Bling and cut out the "80's" using my cuttlebug letters and some glittery sticker paper that I had stashed away. I also used Crazy 4 Challenges sketch C4C3. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
