This card was made for today's sketch challenge and uses a heart from an old card I had made that I wasn't totally satified with. This card is the do-over. The original heart image was gold embossed and colored with markers. I mounted it on a piece of Baroque Burgundy CS and trimmed around the heart with scallop scissors. Today I went over the colored flowers with my new white shimmer paint to soften the colors and add a touch more of elegance to go with the gold heart button and the silk flower and pearls. I gold embossed a piece of More Mustard CS with the retired SU background stamp Hand Stitched. I layered a piece of gold column CS onto some Baroque Burgundy and tied a burgundy organza ribbon around this piece. Everything was layered onto a folded Baroque Burgundy card. The finished card size is
4 5/8" X 6 1/4".

Gorgeous! I have this stamp set and you have encouraged me to get it out, dust it off, and ink it up! TFS!

This is beautiful ... wish I had this stamp. What is "white shimmer paint"? Who sells it? I have seen it listed on a number of cards in the gallery, but I have never heard of it.

How gorgeous! I love the embossed heart with the coloring, and that beautiful scalloped heart matting just completes it gorgeously. Love the ribbon and the flower and the little heart charm!
