This is the card I made for the Playing Cards challenge that Pat Smethers and I put each other through each month. This month the rules were:
*include something related to a cowboy
*include something related to an Indian
*Some distressing on the front
*Some pink on the front (in honor of Buckleman)
*include the words: dog, love, and hot somewhere on the card
Wow, those were some crazy rules (and I made them up....) but the rules this next month are even scarier!
I have never made a collage card and I had to look at several tutorials to get a good feel for how to do it. I love how it came out, but it seems to kind of all be to one side and it came out awfully heavy.
Make sure and visit Pat Smethers' gallery and see what she made for this challenge and all her other unbelievably wonderful cards including her cowboy collection! Check it out here: Blooms in a Box's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

OMG Nancy, even though you are my nemesis, I have to admit that this is one DYNAMITE card!! I've never done collage either, but you would have never guessed you haven't after seeing this display. Oh, so many rules, so little time!! LOL!! GORGEOUS array and love that photo shoot too. Are you trying to compete with MY photo shoots and MY favorite stamper Wattle???? It's so hard to be ME!!! LOL!! P.S. You can remove your vote for Wattle's card from your signature line as she assured me last night I, and only I, would get her Christmas card. Better luck next time!! TFS!!!

I'm leaving another comment Nancy because this is a one-of-a kind masterpiece and it deserves more than one comment. I would refer some of my other nemesis stampers to your site to goggle and comment, but you may not want these particular stampers on your side if you know what I mean. If things don't pick up and you're willing to put up with them, I'd be more than happy to send them to your gallery. I would think this over very seriously as these people just ain't right!!! LOL!!!
