This was made for Wish-RAK's Labor Day Card Challenge for the Troops. We were to use "something old" from our stash and include the eyar 2010 on our card.
Since I hoard cardstock ... all of that is old but I've owned the unmounted Outlines stamp for several years and this is the first time I've inked.
I stamped it twice with Brilliance ink #once in Platinum Planet and once in cosmic Copper#. I cut out the inner panel #the one with the two champagne flutes# from the platinum piece and mounted it onto the copper piece. That was then mounted #using the foam between the pieces of SU dimensionals that had striaght edges# onto some gold metallic cs #probably SU Brushed Gold but all I have are scraps so I can't say for certain.#
I used a Stardust pen by Sakura to fill in the "diamonds" on the copper panel and parts of the champagne flutes on the platinum layer.
The card base measures 5.5 tall by 4.25 wide and is made from Bronze Jewel Cover #by The Paper Company ... the label also said Cool Metallics but I bought it as an individual sheet - or 5!#
My plan was to computer generate the year but, as luck would have it, a bottle of Cinnamon Stickles glue was nearby and the color wasgreat with the cardbase so I wrote the year on another scrap of gold cs.
The inside of the card has a folded piece of ivory colored paper so the troop member will be able to write a message with an ordinary pen.
TFL and ...
Happy Crafting!
