This was done using the soot technique... I brayered on So Saffron prior to doing the technique. It's layered on so saffrom and then elegant eggplant. Next is a layer of basic grey that was run thru the big shot w/ a texture plate and then sponged w/ black for added dimension. The "spider string" was done on the sewing machine and the spider was made w/ a vanilla brad (from SU! hodgepodge hardware- since I didn't have a medium size black one) which I smooshed into the versamark pad and then coated w/ black ep and heated (dipped a 2nd time and reheated...give it a few minutes to completely cool). The smaller brad is just a regular black one from SU! vintage brad set. Then I just drew his legs w/ a black marker. The sentiment was stamped onto so saffron- to which prior I stamped with the BG stamp Weathered using so saffron & highlighted w/ basic grey. The sentiment is embossed. To help with the tearing around the sentiment I first used the oval punch and then roughed up the edges and made it a little wider to accomodate the sentiment.
