This card was frustrating as well as fun!! I took a while to think about Taylor's sketch challenge, I wanted to do something different than an image in the smallest panel and didn't want to put a sentiment in the circle area. Talk about putting yourself up to the challenge!!! I haven't figured out how I am going to manage my first idea yet, still thinking!!! My second idea didn't work, I spent a lot of time trying, finally accepting it just wasn't going to work. This was my third idea!!! And like my card I shared earlier, it looked better in my head than how it turned out!! With this idea I was determined to work Gina's technique challenge on Stamp TV into it!! She wants us to create some type of sewing element on our card. I have cross stitched for years and love when I can stitch on a card, my two crafty loves wrapped into one!!! I wasted a lot of paper (and time!!!) trying to get the waves to work all around the card, that was a challenge in itself, finally settling on punching just 2 sides. I love this sentiment from Gina's Elegant Flowers set, though I think if I do this card again, either use a smaller panel or a larger sentiment!!! I would have liked my ribbon rose larger but I will need to find wider ribbon for that!!!
Thanks so much for looking!!!

What an unique card here. Love the stitching only on two sides. Love your sentiment and that little flower on the ribbon. Very nice layout. Awesome card Lori! TFS :0)
