I loved how she made the sentiment her focal point - which I don't usually consider doing and I love her use of blue on the card which is color I have drifted toward lately (must be all the blue paper I bought). I added more layers, some green, turned the layout, and used a different sentiment.
I also used for inspiration, yesterday's inspiration challenge website and this is the item I chose:
I loved the blue roses on it so I made my blue rose dp on this card by just stamping the rose from SU!'s Watercolor Garden a bunch of times. I love how it came out.
I also thought of Kelly's word challenge of the week with this week's word being "NEW." The sentiment on here is about discovering a new friend which is one of the best parts of being a SCS member (addict, actually) and one of the best parts of life too. This is the first time I have used this sentiment stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms. Kelly, I have to tell you that your weekly challenge is a great idea - I love focusing on a word each week because it really gets me to thinking...... (dangerous, dangerous thing). You have got to check out Kelly's new blog for the details on this WOW challenge:
Darlene, you have so many different cards and styles in your gallery, and it was so fun looking through it. You really got my energy flowing this morning - TFS!
