Well today is Thursday and that means it is time for another challenge from Treehouse Stamps Blog so this is for today's TREEHOUSE THURSDAY CHALLENGE - Surprise Pop Ups. This week the Design team was challenged to make one of these darling cards using this TUTORIAL BY BEATE. I have made these before and do enjoy making them. So much fun. I used some textured orange cs for my top panel and black for the base. The top panel was done with Reverse Cuttlebug effect. I inked the positive side of the Spider Web folder with black ink then ran it through the machine. White on the inside and slider panels and my focal image was stamped in black on white then colored with copics. I applied some google eyes on the spider on the focal image. I punched a circle on a post it note to use as a mask then sponged some pumpkin pie and summer sun in the circle portion for reverse masking. I sponged the small bat from a border punch by reverse masking as well. The trees and sentiment were also stamped in black. All images can be found at TREEHOUSE STAMPS STORE. Come on and play along. Make sure to include THT012 in your keywords Ashley can admire what you created in between feedings of her brand new baby boy Grant. She and Grant are doing well and we wish her a speedy recovery.
