Ahhhh... Christmas cards! I LOVE making Christmas cards. There are so many wonderful images out there to help us make some fun cards!
This little Elzybell Ice Skater card will fit four different challenges. I love that!! First, I used the sketch for the BasicGrey Challenge, but it looks like I'm too late to enter my card in that challenge. {snapping fingers} Darn it!! But I still loved the sketch.
Next, this is for Simon Says Challenge. Their theme is "Christmas in August". {smiling}
Then, there's the Our Creative Corner Challenge. Their theme was also "Christmas in August". FUN!!
Finally, this works for the Papertake Weekly Challenge. This is their 100th challenge, so we got to 'take our pick'. We could choose any of the previous 99 challenges they've posted so far. I chose the challenge from Nov. 17, 2008 titled "Let it Snow!".
I glittered up all her coat edges and ear muffs. Then I tried to create an ice pond with crystal stickles. Looks pretty good IRL, but I don't think you can see it here. And I also used crystal stickles on the snowflake brad. Lesson learned on this... don't use stickles next to anything you've used copic markers on. I colored a red flower a little darker, and this red is showing up on my snowflake! ACK!! Oh, and I sponged wheat VersaMagic chalk ink around my image.
Thanks so much!
