My step-daughter, Annie, has a cousin that is getting married next month. She asked me to make a card for her. No problemo, I just got a nice Lockhart stamp with the image of a wedding cake that I was looking forward to using but then she said that her cousin (I wish I could remember her name, I probably will the minute I post this) loves ladybugs and could I make the card with lady bugs. That had my brain going on overdrive. I couldn't remember if I had a ladybug and if I did how was I gonna use it for a wedding card. I looked at some websites for ladybug stamps and didn't see anything I liked and then I went to my room and went thru my stamps and found SU's Winged Things. The ladybug stamp is small but too large to use as a cake decoration. So I fell back on my old favorite of using layers of embossed white. Last ones like this I made using an embossed heart stamp but in order to use the ladybug stamp I punched out the heart nestabilities and mounted the ladybugs on them. So this card is all white cardstock, the various layers have been embossed with cuttlebug folders. A ribbon was tied on one layer. I used a gelly roll pen to put some curly cues on the heart and glued dots of sparkles on the scallops.

I'm sure she will love the card. Well done.
