Whew, this challenge really sent me into orbit a bit. I'm sure everyone else thought of an easier way to do this sketch challenge; but, as usual, I take the long, hard road. It didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but it is what it is. I'm still struggling a bit with the new in colors too, so that might have been part of the problem.
Here's the link to the Midnight Madness Challenge - they have great sketch challenges and prizes and I really enjoy doing these:
I used the new SU dsp (Cottage Walls) and mixed it with the stamp set Garden Greetings. You may not be able to tell, but I paper pieced the flower with some of the dsp and then filled it in with Crystal Effects to give it a real shiny look. I then doubled it up on dimensionals. I used the swiss dots ef on behind the image, swirls ef on the square scallop nestie frame and added flowers, bling and leaves.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look and let me know what you think if you have a second.

This is very special - I love the colors and the image you used. It is a great birthday card, and the flowers and sparkle really add to it. Well done!

I see: this simple little kindergarten challenge sent you into the middle of next week, you say? I cant imagine why. Perhaps I might suggest you asking to borrow those 100+ year old great glasses from John's dearly beloved and deceased great grandmother. you might see things differently if you did. I would hate to part with them, but should that nuclear warship ever head my way and land at our river's edge, I might be promtped to Give them to Sgt Corporal Naval Commander Mr. Pam so you can get your head straight, as if that was possible. I am really trying to be nice here ~ hope you recognize that. Oh, do I ever love this one, Ms Pammy. Mr. Pammy must have left you alone to your own devices to craft such a pretty and oh so elegant card as this. I know, it is surprising, I think the same thing actually, but, on occasion, you do come up with a few good ones. I need to ask you a question: you always seem to use marbles in your photos. By chance, are those the ones you've lost? You catch my drift, I'm sure. I need not explain further. No, thanks for asking, those stomach staples have not come out yet. When Dr Wanna B Detective staples something together, she really staples something together. she doesnt fool around such as you do. She gets right to the matter of the subject, that being me. To be continued...

Dr Wanna B detective with that 4 digit IQ hasnt bothered me in probably a week now. Dont go running over to stir things up. It's been a wonderful reprieve not hearing from her, if you know what I mean. you, on the other hand, have more than made up for the agony she's generally causing me. I think you're the one that needs to WYB! you just never know when either my people or myself will come up with a good one with your name plastered all over it.

In summary, let me just say this, sistah: ... you've managed to create a find challenge card today with those panels and colors. Such a pretty glitterized flower, too. See, you can do something productive when you put your mind to it. This concludes my analysis for tonight. Geez, can you believe I used to get paid for this, and here I am giving out my assessment for free. Something's not right here!

I love you Anne!! There! I've said it!!! Just was watching you post these comments! ;0 Yes, I get straight to the matter with my staples. You raise an interesting question about Pam and - well - has she lost her marbles??? I of course had already asked that question with my 4 digit IQ. Anne - you amaze me with what you are able to do with your 1 digit 1Q.
Now, on to your card, Pammy! ;)
This looks lovely Pammy - if I may call you that! I must say that I am still having trouble with those new incolours too - but you've done a wonderful job with this! I tell you - that fancy and complex MMSketch would knock me into next week too........ so complex!!! Love your central image and paper piecing! Such pretty flowers with the glitzy centres!

I do hope you realize I'm trying to bring your numbers up with all these stupid #%$%@! comments. I even notified Ms Dr Wanna B detective to get over here and leave a comment to get those numbers up for you. Now, that's a friend, wouldnt you say?

Wow, Pam!! All your hard work and efforts resulted in a really beautiful card. I love everything...the dp, the colors, the dry embossing, the glitzy flower. It is just wonderful. Thank you so much for playing with us at the MMSC this week. We love having you. Hope you will play again next week too!

Your card is lovely!! Great job with Priscilla's wonderful sketch. Believe me when I first saw it I didn't kow how I was going to get every thing cut straight because I am challenged when it comes to cutting straight. But when I looked at my Nestibilities and Cuttlebug dyes I got the idea to let them do the work!! Just getting them on the paper straight was enough of a challenge for me. But I wound up making three cards and I think they are reasonably straight for me. Back to your card. I love the purple and the glitter and those jewels in the center of the corner flowers. The Midnight Madness Design Team wants to thank you for playing so faithfully in our weekly challenge. Again your presentation is lovely!! (Me thinks it seems like some of your ???friends??? are jealous!!)
