I was totally channeling Sparklegirl on this one! I was so excited to see her card chosen for this week's sketch. My favorites gallery is full of her spectacular art work. For my card I tried to emulate her style by choosing a white base and using solid Bravo Burgundy embossed panels for the background. The main panel is a watercolored flower on a white panel. All the panels are lifted on dimensionals. For the center flower I used a white gel pen to highlight the flower and just a little stickles for a shimmer. The wide ribbon and thinner pink ribbon wrap around the card with the signature silver brads finishing this off.
My friends will be surprised to see I've chosen a flower, that's a little different for me. I just wanted to go girly on this one for a change. How'd I do? Thanks for sending your comments my way.
