There is a reason this is one of the last of the Dare to get Dirty challenges I am doing. Kittie's scenes are so inspiring, but doing one is way out of my comfort zone!
I am also belatedly responding to the tea party on the lily pad. (Was my invite lost in the mail?) I think every one else has gone home, although I did spot a couple of late arrivals this morning. I think the frog is jumping for joy because he gets his pad back, and the laid back life guard is taking it easy on the beach after a busy day. I did leave my tea cup on a break away lily pad (oops - the breakaway was last week at the Tour de France) in case there are any refreshments left.
Maybe next week I will see people at the actual party.

What a fun scene! You even brought a little friend to the teaparty. I like your little teacup floating on the lily pad.

What a fun scene! Love the frog and the lifeguard! I hope your tea cup doesn't get away! There are always a few hangers-on after the tea party so I'm sure your cute frog could stir something up without much trouble!

I think the tea just keeps coming and coming so you will get some. And you brought popsicles so I am sure some of us will be around to get our treat. Sure beats dragonflies.

Such a cute scene! Your frog looks very content knowing the lifeguard is there. You're never too late for a tea party - I'm sure Cindy will tell you the same. Glad you could make it!

I don't think there is such a thing as being too late for one of Cindy's tea-parties. I like your stamped background, and the boardwalk that the lifeguard is hanging out on and relaxing. I like your embossed lily pad too.
I found Kittie's scene challenge hard last year, and just as hard this year. I think the secret is not to think about making a scene and then it's easier!

Oh hi! There you are. You aren't late at all ... MM's teaparties go for an entire week. We're going to be pretty pruny from hanging out in her pond for a week, don't ya' think???
This is a darling scene! I agree with Sabrina ... I'm always so intimidated by scene cards. But when I don't think about it so much, it is definitely much easier!
Cheers to you (I would be drinking the special tea today ...)!!

Whoo Hoo! Dorothy is back! I would have come greeted you sooner but that darn work gets in the way of my tea party fun! We pretty much party from Tuesday to Tuesday, some come and go, but you are always welcome late or not! If you are not seeing anyone here, chances are its cuz they fell of their lily pads cuz they got schnockered! Your card is a precious little teaparty scene complete with a lifeguard! It has all the requirements which really arent' required anyway since there's no rule that makes us follow the rules! Make sense! Snort!
So glad you came...and so fun that you are still thinking about the Tour.....we had some other arrivals on bikes this week! Hope to see you next time Dorothy! Make sure you check out my blog to get a sneak peak of next weeks Teapot! You can get a head start! Hee!
Dorothy, I love your embossed, ripped lily pad and all your cute images. What an adorable scene for both challenges. Thanks so much for playing in my scene challenge.

You did a great job. I am so glad you came to the party. I didn't come this week but I am peeking in the window. You created a great scene. I hope that that penguin knows how to swim. He may just have to be rescued by that frog. Super job.
