We'll I'm a little late to the Tea Party at Mothermark's new Lily Pad Pond http://mothermark.blogspot.com/2009/...-lily-pad.html
- I had a tooth pulled today :( ... Maybe I can have some of that special TEA that is served to help dull the pain. Mutnik's life guard may have to rescue me if I topple into the pond...
I brought along a few of my little froggy friends to play in the pond.
I had no Frog stamps - I made this little scene using images from my PrintMaster program. I made extra images of the frogs, cut them out. Used my exacto knife to cut the one frogs mouth so I could attach his "quilled" tongue... He is eyeing up that pretty pink dragon fly for lunch. I also made an extra bullrush image, cut out and attached the dragon fly to one of the leaves. Sponged white cardstock edges with apricot appeal. matted with harvest and then pink. Zig zag stitched edges. Popped up panel and tied on ribbon.
I was supposed to Mountain Bike tonight but the Dentist said I shouldn't go... so I've taken some pain killers and am sitting in my air conditioned house - it is 35 degrees out #95 F#... What better place to be than in my stamping room

Love your little scene you created! Your frogs are just too cute! I think some of the single female frogs are going to be hitting on them pretty soon! Those butterflies are so pretty! I hope they escape that frogs curled tongue! It looks like if he uncurled it, it could grab one of them right out of the sky! Cute idea to quill his tongue!!!!

Be carefuly you don't get the spiked tea with those painkillers you're taking! Love the little scene you created. That quilled tongue is very clever and I love your little dragonfly. Wonderfully done! (Feel better!)
