I found a really cute Monster set at Michaels. It's by Recollections. Just couldn't resist picking it up for the birthday card I needed to make. I also have the Monster set from My Cute Stamps and used the flames to add to this monster, as well as the sentiment from the MCS set on the inside. I got the idea for the scales from my fellow muse, Beth Thomas' card: A Nightlight for an October Afternoon by Beth Thomas at Splitcoaststampers
Colored my American Crafts Thickers with my YG05 Salad Copic marker since I didn't have any lime green Thickers on hand.
Supplies:
Patterned paper: October Afternoon
Ribbon: SU red grosgrain
Solid navy paper for inverted scallop circle Nestie: A Muse
Rhinestones: A Muse Twinkle Micro Dots
Lime Green Stickles
Copic markers & Spica glitter pens
SU small oval punch (for scales)
Nestabilities Inverted Scalloped circle die

this is adorable! I love the color palette, i love how you cut out the monster, and the way you popped the sentiment with the chipboard. I think I might have to get this set -- I've got a couple of monsters -- young and old -- who resemble this card!
