I combined two challenges on this card. The first challenge was the LSC228 challenge to crop an image, use it at least three times and use only brads as embellishments. The other challenge was the CCEE challenge to use modern grid technique (TRICK).
I got this sunflower image when my local scrapbook store closed last Dec. I have tried several times to use it, but haven't liked the results. To crop my sunflower, I used a piece of paper to mask the cardstock so when I stamped it only portions of the sunflower stamped. I stamped the flowers with white craft ink. I then colored the image with prisma colored pencils.
I used the same image to stamp randomly on the yellow cardstock. I altered the amount of the flower that I allowed stamp by moving the mask. I then used a white colored pencils to make the grid. I chose to use 1/2" for my grid.
I accentuated the grid by using two pieces of brown cardstock over the grid. I stamped HELLO in the corner.
What do you think?

Your results today with your sunflower stamp are terrific! Love the way you stamped them white and then added the color. Love the arrangement and little pot for the main image too!

Pretty colors and layout! I like how you used cardstock masking to crop your image as part of your background. Great job with the challenge!
