I decided to use this weeks MMSC Sketch to make a Birthday Card for my work colleague Des. The pattern paper is SU Spring Break. (These guys look a little old to be on Spring Break!). The cardstock is Soft Sky, Blue Bayou and Wild Wasabi. The image is by "The Boys" by Stamp It. I have watercoloured the image using SU Blush Blossom, Pretty in Pink, Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, Blue Bayou and Soft Sky. I have chalked the background to give the image a lift, it all looks a little washed out in the photo but the colours are brighter IRL. Brads and a metal embellishment from Making Memories complete the card.
Thanks for Looking!

What a HOOT!! I think I know those guys!! I love your colors and I am always attracted to stripes! Maybe I was a jail bird in a past life. Thanks so very much for playing in the MMSC9. We look forward to more of your lovely cards each week in our sketch challenge. Because we want as many people to see this funny card as possible please put a 9 by the MMSC in the keywords. Thanks, then it will show up in the MMSC9 gallery.
