I made a pair of cards for today's LSC. Boy, it was limiting!! I'd have loved to texture up the green, but then I couldn't have had my ribbon and brads. And really, I'd have preferred brads without the ribbon, but I followed the list and chose Neutral Images for Images, Greens and Browns for Colours, and Ribbons and Brads for Embellishments.
Base is A2 kraft. I trimmed some green Core'dinations to slightly smaller and trimmed it diagonally, adding small square brass brads before sticking it to the card. Then I stamped Pocket Silhouettes along the base in ColorBox Chalk Warm Green and Dark Brown. The images from In the Wild were stamped on pale green Core'dinations with the same inks; the edges were distressed and then layered up on dark brown Bazzill. I added some dark brown grosgrain ribbon and small round brass brads. The image panels are up on thin foam tape.
I should have learned from Wednesday that it seems to be much harder to take a good photo of kraft than it is of white card bases, or even black. Both cards are the same colour. I'll try for a better picture later!! (Better picture substituted for first one)
Thanks, Wendy!

WOWZA!! Perfect combo of stamp sets here!! I NEVER would have thought "Pocket Silhouettes" on a manly card, but it works just right here!! Nice layouts, too!

These are both great! I love how they turned out! I had to giggle reading your comments...I feel the same way, almost like I need to sit on my hands to keep from grabbing the wrong things during LSC! ;)
