I needed a card for my boss (I only work limited hours now days doing payroll and bookkeeping at a small law office) and he loves the ocean and, in fact, lived on a sailboat for many a year awhile back. I thought about the seashells the wonderful Stamp Muse (Miss "M") sent me and thought I could incorporated it into this sketch since she sent me large sand dollars and small shells that could work very well with this. She even sent me some twine which worked out perfectly. Thanks "M"!!! You're the best! Take a look at Stamp Muse's card using shells and twine:
Thanks so much for dropping by for a look at my newest ocean addition and if you have a chance, drop me a line and let me know what you think!! Have a GREAT week and good luck to everyone on the MMSC6 challenge!!!

Look at those little shells! I love using shells, but haven't lived near a beach for a LONG time, and rely on a friend who lives on the west coast. This is certainly a great masculine card, with the colours, design and all that great texture. Off now to see the ocean card M sent you - I got a lovely sea scene from her for my birthday.

Wow I love this, great card... I moved from Florida 3 years ago and spent many a days looking for sand dollars and shells on Siesta beach.. Thank you for the lovely comments on my gallery.

Well Pam (did I get the name right ;) I think this should be framed and given to him. If he love the ocean as much as you said..how perfect would that be...just a thought It turned out really nice.. very creative with the shells. Thank you for sticking with us at the Midnight Madness..I guess you are having fun I sure am looking at beautiful cards like this one.

Wow Pam - what an addition to the MMSC - this is fabulous and so original - you go Girl!!! Love the shell treatment and the twine, the colours...it is all great - I am with Priscilla on this one - it is worth framing. Pam, you are really doing some gorgeous work 'outside of the square' - isn't that the greatest thing about cardmaking, how much we can grow - I just love SCS for so many reasons!!! Thanks for sharing...and inspiring!
