I've been wanting to try out the origami shirt technique, and I was pleased with how simple it was. There are lots of tutorials online for how to fold this shirt. I used the Windsor Knot designer series paper (SU!) for the striped shirt and the back of the double-sided paper for the yellow/white patterned paper on the card base. After folding the shirt, I added 3 miniature dark green buttons using glue dots. I mounted the shirt to a ticket-corner-punched mellow moss panel layered on top of the yellow/white Windsor Knot DSP.
I mounted a panel stamped with the Well-Worn Words background stamp to the bottom of the card and covered the seam where the 2 background papers meet with a strip of chocolate chip cardstock. I attached a "best" word sticker and 2 large metal embellishments to the chocolate chip paper strip. Centered below the "best" sticker, I used glue dots to attach 3 different metal letter charms to spell "Dad." I attached miniature metallic screw-head stickers to the 4 corners of the completed card front.
