It is interesting that we seem to simplifying, as if, to prepare for the heat of summer. (Friday's LSC also was to use a single white sheet card!) I think, however, that the cards made for the CAS challenge, yesterday, are getting more and more embellished. They also are more layered and *Nestied*! (I know that is not a word, thanks.) Okay, that's the end of the soapbox editorial comments. Sorry!!!
I used my Scor-Pal and made a double line around the periphery. The red brads with white polka dots are in between the 2 lines. (The lines are difficult to see in the photo.)
The main image was stamped and colored with SU! Watercolor crayons. This paper was slippery, so the crayons were harder to work. I used Pearl-Ex Luminous watercolors to perk up the petals and center of the daisy. I pierced the 2 corners where you now see dark green dots. The piercing just didn't work for me! I added a lot of features to the butterfly brad and placed it above the flower.
After the sentiment stamping, we were ready to go to press!!! The finished product is much more appealing IRL!!! That was a lot of reading for one layer!!! LOL!! Hope you will use your imagination when viewing! TFL!!! ~Chrysi~
