This is for the butterfly box challenge TLC223. What a lovely gift giving bag/box this makes! I'm sure to make more of these.
I used Baja Breeze cardstock, but after I put it together, I realized that I should have used textured cs, or stamped it, so I tried to wheel the So Swirly wheel on it by placing a block inside the box. It semi-worked, and the butterfly helped hide the missing spots. The edges are sponged with Basic Gray, and the Urban dp's are the butterflies and handle.
The box is holding stamps wrapped in scraps of paper, and chocolates too. There is a card in the scallop envelope with a note inside. The strips of paper are scraps that I crimped and curled around a pencil.
This is my oldest son, Zack's teacher gift. The stamps are from the Teacher's Pet set (my younger son gave the other stamps to his teacher). Zack has had a tough year, and his teacher has stayed firm in pushing him to work harder. Zack is a great kid, just not a stellar student, and his teacher needs to know that she and her persistence is appreciated!!! I hope she likes it.
TFL!

what an awesome mom & crafter you are! As a teacher, I'm telling you from the bottom of my heart, you're the kind of parent we looooove...the kind that appreciates what we do. I'm sure she'll love the gift, both because it's beautiful and because of the sentiment behind it.
