Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Bashful Blue. It also was made for yesterday's CAS challenge to CASE a in your own gallery and make it a CAS card. I chose this card.
Okay...so the bathroom sink is still on the floor. Why? because Mark hurt his back while trying to attach it to the wall!!! I bet I will not have a bathroom sink for over a month...Any takers???
I often have to venture into my "FAVS" bin and choose this image. The petals are very easy to color. I stamped the image in VersaMark onto watercolor paper and embossed in white. Next, I colored the ENTIRE rose in So Saffron, (SU! marker). Next, I highlighted areas with a Pumpkin Pie marker, making sure to color areas that had "heavy" lines. Then, I used an aqua painter to blend the colors. I used a paper towel to blot and added in Pumpkin Pie in some areas.
The Leaves were done the same way with Bashful Blue. I cut out the rose and the leaves....
