Ok, I admit it..except for some sponging on the cassette tape, there's no stamping on this card! My BIL's birthday is next week, and he wants a guitar center gift certificate for all his "rockin' out" needs. So of course I needed to use the SU Rockabilly paper!
The cassette (for those of you who may not know, this is how we made "mixed tapes" for our boyfriend(s) and/or girlfriend(s) before itunes playlists and cd burners came along) is from a basic grey chipboard pack, covered in the black striped rockabilly paper. I sponged the edges & the entire tape with PTI smokey shadow to get it a little less shiny. The sentiment frame is a cuttlebug die, and the "rock star" was printed with Seriffic Grunge font. The rest was just put together using the SC229 sketch challenge!
Oh, one little trick..I wanted a skull & a crown to peek through the cassette tape holes, but I could get the papers to line up. So I just cut a small piece of the crown paper and taped it to the back of the cassette, lining up one of the crowns.
