As I was working on my quota of 10 cards for the Christmas Card Challenge for May, I put ink on an retired SU! stamp set for the first time, Beary Merry Christmas. It doesn't have a gallery. I used Sketch Challenge 228. The card base was stamped with the Paisley background stamp in Always Artichoke ink. I water colored and blended on the stamped image. You probably can't tell, but I used white gel pen on the teddy bear's candy cane, the stocking polka pots and the heart shaped patch on the heel; then used burgundy marker on the toe & heel patch. Layered and used Stampin' Dimensionals for the teddy bear. Embossed Merry Christmas in gold. Only one of these for this month, but I stamped up a lot of teddy bears so I'll be set to make more in another month. With all these Christmas cards already made and that stress set aside, it will be truly a Beary Merry Christmas season! I'll be able to concentrate on what's truly important and still get Christmas cards out to family & friends. And it's a been fun to create different Christmas cards each month. You should try it! TFL

What a gorgeous image, love the way the crumpled paper gives the card texture. I think it's a a fabulous idea to try and do some Christmas Cards thoughout the year. Takes the pressure off when we are all so busy at Christmas.
