I altered one of the Mini Dessert tin buckets that my son always brings home from Logan's. I found that it was exactly the right size for one of the peat pots to slide into! This makes it perfect to start seeds and once they have sprouted slide the peat pot in the bucket and give it as a gift! The recipient can then plant them in their yard! The ones pictured are some watermelons that my son started.
I used my paper crimper and also added some "darts" in the bottom of the DP, just like when I sew, to help form it to the bucket.

Those are sweet little tins.
Are they slippery enough to stop woodlice climbing up, LOL. I'd carefully protected my germinating sunflowers from slugs, only to discover the woodlice were eating them up :-(. I like this - pretty and functional.
