This is my Mother's Day card for 2009. I just love the new Manhattan Flower textured impression folder and wanted to give it a try. I can just smell the freshness in the spring colors.
The card on the left is of the outside and the card on the right is of the inside.
I used micro beads to give the center of the roses some sparkle. Not only running the roses through the big shot gave it the dimention it needed but also I added an extra layer of yellow. I think this offset it even more.
I used stampin up pastel chalk to shade the roses then sprayed matt acrylic spray finish to seal in the chalk. If you do not do this then the chalk continues to rub off.

A lot of work here -- but the end result was worth it. I *might* do some Mother's Day cards for my daughters if I get time this week. I'm sure you will sell all of these right away.

You really made those flowers pop out! I haven't gotten the Manhattan Flower texture plate yet but the more I see cards using it the more it is growing on me. Great Job. TFS
